Newrybar Community Hall is situated in the historic Newrybar Village, which was first settled in 1881.

The community hall, built in 1889, is conveniently located in the centre of the village and opposite the award winning Harvest Café.

With the enthusiastic support of the locals, the hall is again becoming the focal point of village life. It is the ideal location for a range of social or business occasions. The main hall is able to accommodate events for 100 people and has a stage for plays, films etc.

There is a fully equipped kitchen, which is now being upgraded to commercial kitchen standard.

Hall hire charges:

Small Functions
$15 per hour, with an additional $10 for kitchen use

Major day or night functions including weddings
$250 includes use of kitchen, chairs and tables

If your function is community based as opposed to private you may request a reduced rate for large functions.

Each booking will be assessed individually. In some cases a bond may be required with booking – repayable following post function cleanup.

Old Time Dance with Rhythm Rascals
$10/head, tickets at door, includes excellent supper but bring a plate if possible. Dance or just listen to the music.

Comedy Night – Dinner /Movie

Traditional Bush Dance and Supper
